Rebellion Brings Classic Games World War Zero, Free Running and Gunlock To Steam, Available Now
3rd December, 2019 – Independent UK studio Rebellion has brought three classic titles to Steam for the first time. The trio of golden oldies are Free Running, World War Zero, Gunlok, and all three games are available right now at a special 15% launch week discount.
Prepare for World War Zero
In the alternate history of World War Zero, the fighting never ended. It’s March 1964 and World War 1 has raged on for 50 years. Take on a suicide mission and save humanity from nuclear devastation in this classic first-person shooter.
Take the leap with Free Running
If you prefer tracing to tanks, Free Running has also made the jump to Steam. Master tricks, stunts and the urban landscape in one of the first ever parkour simulations ever made.
Strike back with Gunlok
Finally, the Rebellion-developed team-based RTS Gunlok is also available now on Steam. At the end of the 21st century, robots have enslaved mankind. You are a member of Earth’s Special Forces, and it’s time to strike back!
Rebellion is delighted to be able to ensure these games’ legacies carry on for years to come, and there are plans to bring more titles from its extensive back catalog to digital platforms.
Founded in 1992, Rebellion is one of Europe’s biggest independent multimedia studios. Its flagship Sniper Elite series is renowned for its authentic stealth and sniping gameplay with more than 20 million players worldwide. 2000 AD is synonymous with the absolute finest in British comic book art. With the acquisition of a $100m film studio and the world’s largest archive of English language comics, Rebellion continues to grow from strength to strength.
Rebellion now operates across books, comics, TV and film, but at its core it’s still a leading developer and publisher of games. Whether it’s the breathtaking intensity of Sniper Elite 4, the face-hugging terror of Aliens vs. Predator or the grindhouse frenzy of the Zombie Army series, the Oxford-based studio is revered for creating stand-out games designed to thrill.
