XSEED Games Releases Retro Platforming Classic with Added Co-Op for Some Fun on a Bun
Torrance, CA – October 8, 2019 – XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today announced that BurgerTime Party!, the delicious return of the retro platforming classic, has officially launched for Nintendo Switch™ and is available for purchase digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch for $19.99, and with a physical release available through the XSEED Games online store and select retailers for an MSRP of $29.99.
DATA EAST’s 1982 arcade classic is back and better than ever with all-new challenges for Chef Peter Pepper. Fire up the grill and play through over 100 sizzling stages that put players’ culinary skills to the test with bite-sized puzzles and common kitchen hazards like crumbling floors, freezing ladders, and malfunctioning conveyer belts, all while evading edible enemies attempting to thwart players’ efforts. Local multiplayer lets 2-4 friends cooperate as cooks or compete against each other as the nefarious Food Foes for fun that has no expiration date. Players can also compete for a place on the leaderboards in Challenge Burger mode to stack their high scores against top chefs from around the world.
