BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. today released Part 1 of Shawn Ashmore’s Developer Diary for the upcoming narrative-horror anthology series, The Dark Pictures Anthology – Man of Medan, developed by Supermassive Games. Climb aboard and learn how the team brought horror storytelling to the high seas in The Dark Pictures Anthology – Man of Medan Shawn Ashmore Dev Part 1, available at the following YouTube link (ready for embedding): https://youtu.be/6BzwX_MjhLE
In the first installment of his Developer Diary, Shawn Ashmore (who plays “Conrad” in the game) offers an in-depth discussion of Man of Medan’s vibrantly detailed cast of characters, along with a behind-the-scenes look into the motion-capture process that brings them to life—or death, depending on the player’s choices. With the personalities and relationships of Conrad, Julia, Alex, Brad and Fliss paramount to Man of Medan’s progression, Ashmore’s insights may just prove crucial to navigating the mysterious waters that lie ahead.
Developed by Supermassive Games, the critically-acclaimed studio behind the cult-classic thriller Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology – Man of Medan is a series of standalone cinematic horror games linked by one common element: that every playable character can live and every playable character can die throughout the story, yielding numerous possible endings and near-limitless replayability. Man of Medan will be anchored by a talented cast of actors, including stars Shawn Ashmore (X-Men, Quantum Break) and Pip Torrens (The Crown, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) will be a consistent character, the Curator, in all games in the anthology, whose in-game likenesses are rendered in vivid detail.
