Fluffy Horde is a real-time strategy, 2D side-scrolling tower defense game where you face off against hordes of BUNNIES! That’s right-bunnies. A shaman wanderer releases a swarm of bunnies, so it’s up to you to defend your township. This game is extremely challenging, and the bunnies are cute and funny but destructive. This pixelated game is simple with the warm colors, art design and animation, making it appealing.

Let’s jump into the gameplay; with not a lot to go by, I struggled at first on how to summon my men to defend the town. There were really no instructions on how to do much of anything. Once you figure it out, the game is pretty much cut and paste after that. You summon your men, and you level them up using the in-game currency. The stronger the guys, the faster they can kill the horde. With that being said, there are timed trials as well with different times for you to try to beat. If you are someone like me, then you want to try to complete all the timed trials, but some of them seem very unrealistic to achieve. It gets frustrating, having to try to re-do the levels many times.

Talking about re-doing things, this game is very repetitive. It has the same song and dance over and over again, which didn’t hold my interest. They did throw some curveballs here and there but still very REPETITIVE. The soundtrack is nice for what it is, but it’s really not the greatest. The soundtrack is on a loop, so it replays, and that gets old! I felt like the developers put no effort into this game. I feel as if they came up with killer bunnies that attack a town, put in some music that fits the fantasy theme on a loop and ran with it. It’s almost near impossible to set up your defenses in time before the horde comes.

Pros:

  • Warm Colors
  • Good Concept

Cons:

  • Repetitive
  • Not Fun
  • Frustrating
  • Bad Price Point
  • Repetitive

Wolfpack (Wagz) Gives Fluffy Horde a Drastik Measure 1.5 out of 10 (15)

With the frustration factor and challenging levels, it’s not fun to play at all. Being a repetitive game, and at the price point, I wouldn’t purchase it at all. The price point for this game, at the time of this review, is $8.49 (USD). I wouldn’t even play this game if it was free. The only thing this game has to offer is its cuteness factor and the idea behind the story but, besides that, I wouldn’t even give this game a second look. The amount of time I played this and had to retry levels just wasn’t fun for me whatsoever. The best advice I would give you is don’t waste your money.
