Pros:

  • Impressive amount of detail in mech destruction
  • Extremely detailed combat

  • Action cams add a much needed feel to tactical or strategy games. FEELS VISCERAL!
  • Extensive Mission Report
  • Lore/Tool tips well done
  • Management/Out of Mission game-play is enthralling
  • Immersive Soundtrack
  • Feels like a great RPG (even though it isn’t an RPG)

Cons:

  • Extremely Long Load Times
  • Game doesn’t save after every mission
  • Voiced but not entirely voiced

Draul gives BATTLETECH a Drastik Measure 9.2 out of 10 (92)

Most of the cons of the game end up being very minor. BATTLETECH is an incredible experience, even just in the beginning of the game. I mean, I played the first level three times. There are a lot of elements of the game that aren’t great or terrible. The $39.99 USD price on Steam is definitely worth the cost of entry for BATTLETECH.
